Purpose & Use: Allows salon owners and administrators to safely back up their client records, appointment books, staffs, and price lists into an encrypted JSON backup file (berberiq_backup_[id].json) directly inside their own personal Google Drive folder, and safely restore it whenever needed.
Data Segregation & Privacy: BerberIQ only reads, writes, and manages data of files created or explicitly opened by this app. It does NOT scan, retrieve, or alter other files inside your Google Drive. All backup data remains exclusively in your personal Google storage workspace. It is never transmitted to us or any external third-party servers.

Purpose & Use: Empowers barbers and shop owners to import selected business contact records directly from their Google Contacts database into their BerberIQ Local CRM clients database with a single click, eliminating tedious manual typing.
Data Segregation & Privacy: Contact information is processed only when you initiate the manual "Import Google Contacts" command. Your contacts' records are kept only of those you select and import, and are strictly hosted in your own salon workspace. No contact info is transmitted to out-of-boundary third parties.
Limited Use Requirements: The use and transfer of raw or derived user data received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We do not use any Google Workspace user data to train, tune, or improve generalized artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models. The data is processed strictly in your local sandbox to power specific user-requested assistant capabilities (such as generating backups or contact imports) and is never shared with any model provider for training.
We believe in absolute data ownership. Your database, schedule information, client profiles, and any details loaded through Google connections belong entirely to you. We strictly commit to the following:
